Mission Statement
Farmsteads of New England empowers adults who have autism and other developmental disabilities to live meaningful and satisfying lives by providing exceptional residential and day services in inclusive farm communities.
About This Cause
Farmsteads of New England provides day and residential services in a farming environment to individuals who have autism, other developmental disabilities and acquired brain disorders. We currently have two farmsteads, both located in New Hampshire. The people we support have the opportunity to participate in the farming operation as well as various arts and numerous recreational activities both on the farmstead and in the greater community. Our residences are unique in that each person has his/her own one bedroom apartment within a cluster of apartments on the farmstead. We are able to provide whatever level of supports the individual needs (other than 24 hour skilled nursing).
