Swami Vivekananda Youth Movement is a non-political, non-religious, not-for-profit, registered, voluntary organization Vision A caring and equitable society, free of deprivation and strife. Mission To facilitate and develop processes that improve the quality of life of people. About This Cause
SVYM is an inspiring real-life story of what can be achieved when young people with ideals when they believe that they can make a difference go after it to achieve the ideals they set up. An organization upholding the teachings and work of Vivekananda with support from dedicated volunteers and donations. It is a non-profit registered voluntary organization trying to assist and improve the quality of life for the less fortunate - by teaching the community they serve to become "self-reliant" and "empower" the people, particularly the women providing basic education for both adults and children.
