Grace Cottage Family Health & Hospital, located in Townshend, VT, is a federally-designated Critical Access Hospital with 24/7 Emergency Department; 19 inpatient beds; digital imaging; full-service lab; inpatient and outpatient physical, occupational, and speech therapy; a Community Wellness Center offering classes, support groups, and activities; a full-service pharmacy open to the public; and Grace Cottage Family Health, an outpatient Rural Health Clinic offering primary care, pediatrics, geriatrics, and mental health services. Grace Cottage Family Health & Hospital promotes health and well-being in an atmosphere of dignity and respect. Grace Cottage’s designation as a Critical Access Hospital underscores its importance in providing health care to an otherwise medically-underserved community. It is the closest medical facility for many area residents, providing vital health care services for the community.
