Mission Statement
The Friends of Burley is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization whose sole mission is to raise money to support Burley School. All funds raised are spent at the discretion of the school administration and LSC – we raise it, they decide where it gets spent.
About This Cause
We plan fundraisers. We run the Annual Fund. We ask the neighborhood for support. We partner with local and national businesses. We are an all volunteer group of parents with serious expertise in having fun and serious heart for the work that goes on within these four walls every day. We work together with the Burley School administration to set fundraising goals. Then we raise the funds. Then the Burley School administration spends the funds to make Burley School the incredible resource it is for every child in our community.
