About This Cause
For the last 65 years United Way of Greater New Bedford has been a leading institution on the Southcoast. UWGNB is one of over 1,200 independent, self-governing United Way organizations throughout the United States and is overseen by a local Board of Directors. UWGNB proudly serves residents throughout the Southcoast, with a primary focus on resident from the cities and towns of Acushnet, Dartmouth, Fairhaven, Freetown, Marion, Mattapoisett, New Bedford, Rochester, and Wareham. UWGNB holds various roles in the community. In addition to funding local programs, UWGNB provides direct services and convenes partner organizations to target key community issues. We believe that we can change what we see in the world - and we can start right here in Greater New Bedford. Join the LIVE UNITED movement and be part of the change.
