Mission Statement
The Merrimack Valley YMCA has always taught more than swimming, aerobics and basketball skills. We have always stressed personal growth, teamwork, fair play, participation and fun in all YMCA programs. Our environment, role models and activities challenge participants to demonstrate the four core values fundamental to character development: Caring, Honesty, Respect, Responsibility.
About This Cause
The Merrimack Valley YMCA is a not-for-profit association of individuals dedicated to improving the quality of life for all through programs that promote healthy spirit, mind, and body. The YMCA seeks to serve all people, regardless of age, gender, race, religion, or economic circumstances. Our mission is to make healthier lives achievable for everyone. Our vision is to be a place where everyone has the opportunity to grow, learn, and thrive through our services and programs. We are always striving to enrich our member experience and foster a sense of community through inclusion and outreach. We continue to strengthen our volunteer and financial resources, and our internal operations to manage current needs and support future growth.
