South Shore Hospital opened its doors (as Weymouth Hospital) in 1922. Today, we're proud to provide the 725,000 residents of Southeastern Massachusetts with high-quality care close to home. Philanthropy is a major reason why South Shore Hospital is the region's #1 source for emergency, critical care, maternity, pediactric, cardiac, oncology, surgical, outpatient, home health and hospice care services.
About This Cause
The South Shore Health System Foundation, led by our Board of Trustees, generates philanthropic support for South Shore Health System and its home health care programs: South Shore Visiting Nurse Association and Hospice of the South Shore. We're proud to have a reputation for excellence, whether providing care in the hospital, home or southeastern Massachusetts communities we love to serve. This high standard of care depends on the philanthropic spirit of individuals, businesses and foundations.
