Mission Statement

A non-profit, charitable organization that distributes food to those who have difficulty purchasing enough food to avoid hunger serving people from Hudson, Berlin and Bolton, Massachusetts.

About This Cause

The Hudson Community Food Pantry was organized in the fall of 1993 and opened its doors at 246 Main Street in Hudson on February 5, 1994, where it remained until a massive fire destroyed the building and everything in it on October 12, 2000.  It was located at a temporary site in a building very near the original structure until it purchased and moved to its present site at 28 Houghton Street in Hudson in October 2003.  The HCFP is operated by uncompensated volunteers who believe in giving back to their community. We are a 501(c)(3) corporation currently assisting more than 130 families in the Hudson area. Our two largest food drives are in May through the US Post Office and in November with Scouting for Food. Our hours of operation are: Tuesday and Saturday—9:00 am to 10:30 am First Thursday of the Month—7 pm to 8:30 pm
