Mission Statement
Bottom Line partners with degree-aspiring students from first generation and low-income backgrounds as they get into college, graduate, and go far in life. Our vision is to create a far-reaching ripple effect, launched by the transformative power of a college degree and a mobilizing first career, that will uplift individuals, families, and entire communities.
About This Cause
Bottom Line was founded 25 years ago to erase the significant opportunity gap between the wealthiest, most supported students and their low-income, less resourced peers. Each year, we help more than 7,000 first-generation students from low-income communities get into college, graduate and establish themselves in mobilizing careers. Bottom Line is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is nearly 100% privately funded. We currently serve over 7,000 students through our College Access, College Success, and Bluprint virtual advising program.
