Mission Statement
Cary Memorial Library Foundation raises private funds to allow our town library to supplement the state and town money they receive. The private funds are used for programming, collection enhancement, and small capital projects.
About This Cause
The Cary Memorial Library Foundation is a vital link between Cary Library and the people of Lexington, enhancing the Library with resources that go beyond tax dollars. The Foundation enables the Library to say “Yes” to pilot projects and innovations, to maintain vibrant collections, to stay at the forefront of technology, and to evolve as a key institution in the town’s cultural life. The Foundation is a tax-exempt, non-profit, 501(c)(3) charitable organization. (Tax ID number 04-3462996)
