Mission Statement
Our mission is to serve with compassion and dignity, offering support and encouragement to Braintree residents and families in need. As a faith-based 501(c)(3) pantry rooted in the teachings of Jesus Christ, we are guided by His command to “feed my sheep” (John 21:17). We provide assistance through nutritious food, help with rent, and support for heating needs. Through our ministry, we strive to reflect God‘s love by alleviating hunger, easing hardship, and walking alongside our neighbors with hope and grace.
About This Cause
Our Food Pantry is a trusted source of help and hope for those in need in the Braintree community. As a faith-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we are committed to serving our neighbors with compassion, dignity, and care. Each month, we provide local families with gift cards to area grocery stores, along with a bag of non-perishable items to help ease the burden of food insecurity. But our support doesn’t stop there. We also assist with seasonal and practical needs. We offer backpacks, school supplies and sneakers at the start of the school year for the kids. We also provide holiday gifts for the children at Christmas time to brighten the season for families facing hardship. Through all we do, we strive to be a light in our community, walking alongside those in need in offering, not just resources, but encouragement, love, and hope.
