About This Cause
PMSF is an international charity with offices in Osprey, Florida and a staff of ten employees. Our worldwide volunteers do a great deal of work and lend support to our small staff. PMSF is dedicated to raising awareness of Phelan-McDermid Syndrome and accelerating research and is currently involved in several research projects and opening clinics nationwide. PMS is a genetic cause of autism and as genetic testing becomes more available worldwide, we are seeing an increase of children with PMS outside of the US, including Oman, South Korea and Malaysia.
