Mission Statement
Community Lunch on Capitol Hill provides hot, nutritious meals and survival services to hundreds of homeless and low-income people in Seattle. We welcome them as our guests in an atmosphere of hospitality, comfort and support. By sharing meals five times each week, we create community together. Meals are open to all, and no sign-in is required.
About This Cause
Community Lunch on Capitol Hill is an un-aligned 501(c)3 nonprofit, cooking and and serving five hot lunches per week. We serve over 250 meals each weekday, Monday through Friday from noon to 1:00 p.m. at All Pilgrims Christian Church in Seattle's Capitol Hill neighborhood. We also provide clothing, sleeping bags, coats, hats, gloves and other gear. 60% of our guests are homeless and 40% are low-income and housed.
