Mission Statement
Supports ministries and programs which provide social, educational and spiritual support to Rhode Islanders. The ministries range from direct support to the poor, the hungry and the homeless to immigration and refugee services, emergency rent, heat and medical aid. Additional services include prison ministry, justice and peace education to end violence in the community.
About This Cause
Supports ministries and programs which provide social, educational and spiritual support to Rhode Islanders. The ministries range from direct support to the poor, the hungry and the homeless to immigration and refugee services, emergency rent, heat and medical aid. Additional services include prison ministry, justice and peace education to end violence in the community. Social service ministries work in concert with other ministries such as the State Department of Elderly Affairs to provide services to senior citizens as well as Respite Care for the sick and elderly. The Fund also supports a child care voucher program, a youth camp, youth centers and sports league (CAL). Educational support includes substantial financial and scholarship aid to students with financial need to attend Rhode Island Catholic schools.
