Mission Statement
The Connecticut Humane Society is the leading resource in the state for companion animal welfare, enriching the lives of families and communities through adoption services, medical care, education and prevention of cruelty. Goals: Goals: • Provide quality care and placement services for owners and animal welfare agencies. • Provide adoption services for animals. • Provide quality, affordable care for companion animals. • Provide animal welfare information, education, and training. • Build and maintain constructive, collaborative relationships. • Provide resources and support for prevention, intervention, and prosecution of animal cruelty.

Financial Information CHS is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) charity and does not receive any federal, state, or municipal funds through tax dollars. We are funded by our generous supporters, corporations and foundations to continue our lifesaving efforts.
