The Connecticut Humane Society is the leading resource in the state for companion animal welfare, enriching the lives of families and communities through adoption services, medical care, education and prevention of cruelty. Financial Information CHS is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) charity and does not receive any federal, state, or municipal funds through tax dollars. We are funded by our generous supporters, corporations and foundations to continue our lifesaving efforts.
