Mission Statement
Our Mission - New Fairfield/Sherman Animal Welfare Society, Inc. provides care and compassion for adoptable animals and finds them loving families. Our Vision - We strive to expand our rescue efforts while continuing to positively impact our community and create a more humane world for animals and people.
About This Cause
NFSAW is an animal shelter for dogs and cats who need rehoming. Animals come from our local area and from kill shelters or overcrowded conditions in other states. We also work with the feral cat population in our communities by running a trap-neuter-return program, providing community cat housing, and educating residents and children about the purpose of this program.
