Mission Statement
The National Association of Basketball Coaches Foundation, Inc. (the “Foundation”) is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes, specifically: • To promote Literacy among middle school aged children by transferring their enthusiasm for the game of college basketball towards an excitement of reading; • To promote fitness, nutrition and general health as means to playing or being involved with a basketball program; • To recognize the history of basketball, as well as the achievements of players, coaches and teams by establishing, operating and maintaining a hall of honor and an interactive facility highlighting the accomplishments of players, coaches’ teams and friends of collegiate basketball; • To provide a forum for educational programs and interaction among college coaches and players and other charitable groups; • To correlate the game of basketball with the general objectives of education.
About This Cause
The NABC Foundation's mission is to educate the public by promoting an understanding and awareness of the history of basketball and in particular, men's college basketball. The NABC Foundation provides a forum for educational program and interaction among collect coaches and players and other charitable groups as well as correlates the game of basketball with the general objectives of education.
