Mission Statement

Community Law in Action (CLIA) develops young people to be leaders by connecting them to opportunities to amplify their voices, cultivate their skills, and actively participate in the process of positive community change.

About This Cause

CLIA both trains Baltimore City youth to be leaders and advocates, and advances positive community change through public policy. To realize its mission, CLIA uses a youth-adult partnership model in which young people and adult professionals collaborate to identify and to understand the wide range of issues challenging Baltimore youth and to achieve justice for all youth through positive community change.
