Mission Statement
FOR THE LOVE OF DOG exists to prevent animal cruelty by rescuing, rehoming, rehabilitating and providing services to domestic animals within northeastern United States.
About This Cause
For the Love of Dog rehomes and rehomes rottweilers and pitbulls (and some random mixed breed dogs as needed) from the northeast US and rescues, transports and rehomes them from the south, including Texas, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia and sometime Puerto Rico. The rescue is a 100% volunteer run organization and has no paid staff. The rescue has placed more than 3000 animals since its creation in 2004.
