Cast’s mission is ending modern slavery through education, advocacy and empowering survivors of human trafficking.
About This Cause
Cast provides a life-changing ‘continuum of care’ to survivors of human trafficking and their families in Los Angeles County through survivor- and trauma-informed social and legal services. We support survivors at every step of their journey: from helping them escape their trafficking situations and access safe housing, to supporting them to recover from trauma and to rebuild their lives, and even to become leaders in the anti-trafficking movement in the United States. Cast was one of the first and is the largest known human trafficking victim service provider in the US. Unlike other agencies in southern California, we serve all survivors of human trafficking - no matter their age, race, gender, nationality or whether they experienced sex or labor trafficking.
