Mission Statement
The Brooklyn Alliance, the not-for-profit affiliate of the the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce, helps build and maintain a healthy and robust business environment and drives community and economic development across Brooklyn’s diverse neighborhoods.
About This Cause
The Brooklyn Alliance, under the Brooklyn Chamber banner, operates a large portfolio of programs in the areas of business, workforce and community development. Direct services include small business financing, technical assistance, recruitment and hiring, health insurance enrollment and business planning. Additionally, the Brooklyn Alliance operates numerous initiatives to promote Brooklyn and Brooklyn businesses, including the Brooklyn-Made Certification, Explore Brooklyn tourism programs, and a variety of trade shows and events that showcase the borough. As the sole economic development agency covering in the entire borough, the Brooklyn Alliance issues regular reports and studies on the economic landscape and opportunities that can continue to strengthen Brooklyn.
