Founded in 1977 as a merchants’ block association, the agency has grown in direct response to the needs of the Brooklyn community and beyond. Today, CAMBA provides services to 45,000 individuals and families annually through an integrated set of six program areas: Economic Development, Education and Youth Development, Family Support, Health, Housing, and Legal Services. Through our comprehensive continuum of care, CAMBA provides services which connect people with opportunities to enhance their quality of life. CAMBA’s track record is impeccable, consistently ranking in the top tier of peer organizations in government contracts, and employing evidence-based programming where possible. Our programs are successful because they respond to community needs and embrace the diverse cultures of the individuals we serve.
