Mission Statement

The mission of the Lexington Center for Mental Health Services is to provide mental health and social services to the Deaf and hard-of-hearing community in a linguistically and culturally accessible manner, recognizing the importance of using every means of communication available, including American Sign Language. Our goal is to contribute to the emotional well-being of the individuals we serve, through skilled mental health counseling and supportive therapy in group, individual, and family sessions which will enable Deaf and hard-of-hearing children, adults and their families live their defined fulfilled, integrated lives.

About This Cause

Lexington Center for Mental Health Services offers comprehensive mental health and case management services for Deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals. Our mental health services are offered in individual, family, and group therapy formats, and our ASL-fluent clinical and case management staff have a profound understanding of the cultural and linguistic needs of participants. Our staff also focuses on developing effective communication and positive relationships between patients and service providers, government organizations, and mainstream healthcare facilities.
