Mission Statement

With the ultimate goal of bringing the final Redemption and the revelation of Moshiach, the world leader of the Chabad Lubavitch movement, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, has instituted an international network of diverse educational and social programs that have rekindled the hearts of millions. Chabad Lubavitch of Kensington established in 1993 a Center and a home for thousands of immigrants from the former Soviet Union, as well as American and Israeli Jews. Chabad Lubavitch of Kensington has been a place to explore the 3000-year-old Jewish heritage and tradition, or a welcoming home in which to enjoy a delicious Shabbos meal. For many of our brethren, Chabad Lubavitch of Kensington has become the gateway to an authentic Jewish way of life and continued spiritual growth.
