Mission Statement
James Lenox House Association provides comfortable, secure, and affordable housing for older adults in New York City through its two residences, James Lenox House and Carnegie East House. As part of the Mitchell-Lama Housing Program, James Lenox House, with 99 apartments, meets a growing need in New York City for affordably priced housing with quality social services for men and women age 55 and older. Located in a quiet Upper East Side neighborhood, near Central Park, James Lenox House provides a venue for older adults to remain healthy and active in the community.
