Mission Statement
Provides housing to individuals working and studying in NYC on a temporary basis. Provide longer-term housing to individuals in the Bronx, NY at reasonable rates in an active community. Provide Scholarships to individuals seeking to continue their Catholic Education. Provide assistance to individuals seeking training and guidance in obtaining new employable skills.
About This Cause
Founded in 1888 the objective of the Society is to extend the vision of the founder, Father Kolping, by promoting the development of the family. The Society fosters a sense of belonging and friendship through a program of spiritual, educational, charitable and social activities. The Society maintains several residences for both temporary and longer-term occupancy, a Vocational Fund to assist individuals in learning about and training for employment opportunities and a Scholarship Fund to grant awardsa to students seeking to continue their Catholic education.
