We envision a world in which suffering is alleviated through the work of our diverse and effective graduates. The National Institute for the Psychotherapies prides itself on leading the ongoing evolution of psychoanalytic theory and practice. Our mission is to deliver exceptional and comprehensive education to our students and outstanding care to patients of all backgrounds. We strive to enrich the field of mental health with training in relational psychoanalysis and integrative psychotherapy. Our students provide quality, low cost therapy to patients of all backgrounds to help them address their challenges and move forward in their lives. We offer unique and innovative programs, including specialized trauma-focused treatment of adults and children, with an emphasis on respect, compassion, and connection. NIP strives to offer relational psychoanalytic training and treatment equally and fairly. We believe there is strength in diversity built on mutual respect, collaboration, inclusiveness, and open communication. We share a common purpose, where our differences are celebrated, and welcomed as opportunities to partner towards achieving our goals.
