The Tibet Fund’s mission is to help Tibetans rebuild and improve their lives and preserve their distinct cultural heritage and national identity by supporting humanitarian aid, health, education, community development, and cultural preservation programs that serve impoverished Tibetan refugees and Tibetans in Tibet.

About This Cause

The Tibet Fund's mission is to sustain the distinct cultural and national identity of the Tibetan people. The Tibet Fund was established in 1981 under the auspices of His Holiness the Dalai Lama to help Tibetan refugees to rebuild their lives in exile. We are the primary funding organization for education, health care, refugee rehabilitation, religious and cultural programs, elder care, orphanages, emergency humanitarian aid, and community and economic development programs serving Tibetans in India, Nepal, Bhutan and Tibet. The Tibet Fund is a 501(c) (3) tax-exempt organization. As such, your donation is tax-deductible to the maximum extent allowed by law.
