Mission Statement
Migdal Ohr, one of Israel’s largest nonprofits, provides critical services to nearly 12,000 underprivileged, impoverished & at-risk children across Israel.
About This Cause
Migdal Ohr (Tower of Light) serves approximately 12,000 children and young adults across Israel annually, through its 160 youth clubs and three main education campuses. Migdal Ohr provides free essential life-changing services including housing, clothing and food, education, medical care and counseling. For over 40 years, and under the visionary leadership of our founder and Israel Prize winner Rabbi Yitzchak Dovid Grossman, Migdal Ohr has thrived, making a difference in the future of Israel. In addition to the essential programs and services offered to Israel’s neediest youth, Migdal Ohr also assists indigent adults with a highly successful Prisoner Rehabilitation Program, a soup kitchen in Migdal Ha'Emek, and the distribution of 25,000 food packages to needy families with children for the Passover and Rosh Hashanah holidays.
