Mission Statement
ARML provides an opportunity for students who are interested in mathematical problem solving to compete in three different contests. These contests allow students to work as members of a team as well as working as individuals. For the original "ARML" contest, students travel in teams of 15 to four different universities in four different regions of the country. There are usually around 2000 students who are involved in these contests. ARML also has an international division for teams from other countries. In 2025 we celebrate the 50th anniversary of ARML.
About This Cause
The American Regions Mathematics League sponsors several different mathematics contests for high school students. These contests are designed to challenge students. Out on site competition at four universities allows mathematics students from all over the country to interact and compete. Teams of 15 students are involved with the main competition. Most people who donate time and services to the organization are mathematics educators or other professionals interested in promoting excellence in mathematics.
