Mission Statement
IMMIGRATION AND DIVERSITY; PUBLIC HISTORY MUSEUM EXHIBITS:We produce print and visual media on a number of issues including immigration, immigration policy, women's history, American History. We have assisted major national museums dedicated to these issues including the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. We make a special point of consulting with high school teachers to understand their needs in the class room and in the museum. We mentor college students looking to future careers in elementary, high school or college teaching, and museum studies; we teach these students how to conduct research that can be applied in the class room and outside of it. We have also provided assistance to visual artists wishing to gain public audiences. Our work is unique: informed by high level research and scholarship our objective is to interpret this research in print and visual formats to make it accessible to the general public and useful in the class room.
