Avail NYC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that empowers New Yorkers facing an unintended pregnancy or past abortion with critical support and resources to inform their decisions, build healthy relationships, and promote healing. Founded in 1992 by a group of women who were overwhelmed by the number of women and men within the five boroughs who face unexpected pregnancies each year, Avail exists to offer New Yorkers the space, support, and services they need to make a holistic, confident decision about an unexpected pregnancy. Avail NYC provides pregnancy decision-making services, pregnancy support services, and after-abortion support at no cost to clients.
