Children's Cross-Border Pediatrics Foundation

Mission Statement

Children of China Pediatrics Foundation (CCPF) is the only American organization with all volunteer medical teams providing free multi-specialty surgery and rehabilitative care for children with complex disabilities in China’s orphanages and children from families in need, as well as education for medical professionals and caregivers.

About This Cause

CCPF has treated more than 1000 children from all over China, improving children's quality of life and health, increasing their chances of being adopted and raising awareness of disabilities. As a not-for-profit, non-partisan organization, CCPF sends all-volunteer pediatric medical teams from the United States to China to perform surgeries to correct disfiguring birth defects and disabilities, and to share medical information, surgical techniques and hands-on training in rehabilitation with Chinese colleagues and caregivers. While some indigent families do not abandon their disabled children, the families struggle to cover medical cost. More often than not, these children cannot attend school or lead healthy lives. Additionally, thousands of disabled children remain in orphanages because of medical conditions or other disabilities that make them less likely to be adopted. With your help, these children can receive the operations and rehab they need to transform their lives. The Children of China Pediatrics Foundation-PSC (publicly supported charity) is a tax-exempt not-for-profit organization qualified under section 501(c)(3) of the US Internal Revenue Code. CCPF maintains no religious, political or agency affiliations.
