Mission Statement
DonorsChoose is a charity that makes it easy for anyone to help students in need. Public school teachers from every corner of America post classroom project requests on our site, and you can give any amount to the project that most inspires you.
About This Cause
DonorsChoose engages the public in public schools by giving people a simple, accountable and personal way to address educational inequity. We envision a nation where children in every community have the tools and experiences needed for an excellent education. All donations and matches made through Benevity are disbursed back to the donor in the form of a gift code, which can then be applied to the active project or classroom of the donor's choice! Gift codes can also be applied to donor's DonorsChoose accounts as account credit. Be sure to include your personal information (name, email address) with each donation to ensure delivery of the gift code!
