About This Cause
At United Way of Greater Stark County, we strive to make a positive impact on the lives of children and families in Stark and Carroll Counties. We aim to alleviate the hardships caused by poverty in our communities and are dedicated to creating lasting change. Our work supports strong starts for kids to prevent or lessen the impacts of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs). With a legacy of more than 100 years, United Way is a trusted name and a valuable resource in our community. We are not a passthrough organization. We put boots on the ground to work directly in our most vulnerable neighborhoods, providing services to meet the needs of families with young children to set the foundation for strong futures and help all children realize their full potential.
