Mission Statement
The mission of the Foundation is to assist Ewha Womans University (“Ewha”) in educating women leaders of high academic achievements and upstanding character, based on Christian virtue, who can contribute to their fields for the betterment of the world both domestically and globally, specifically by: 1. raising funds by promoting the spirit of giving among the alumnae, individuals and organizations who seek to help Ewha; and 2. providing scholarships and grants to Ewha students and faculty, and assisting with other goals or needs of Ewha as appropriate.
About This Cause
Ewha Womans University was established in 1886 in Seoul, Korea. The school started out with one girl but now has more than 20,000 students in the campus. It has become the biggest women's university in the world, with 14 colleges including medical school and engineering school. International Foundation for Ewha W. Univ. supports the center of women's education and helps the exchange program with other countries.
