Mission Statement
We accept stray, unwanted, abandoned and injured cats and dogs and work to find them their forever homes. We provide food, medical attention, and compassion while they are in our care. We provide humane education and pet therapy for the Mohawk Valley.
About This Cause
We take in stray, unwanted, abandoned and injured cats and dogs of the Mohawk Valley. We provide food, care, medical attention and love while working to find them a forever home. We visit local schools and nursing homes for humane education and pet therapy in the local region. We have cats at PetSmart for adoption year round. Children often bring gifts to the shelter for their birthday rather than getting presents for themselves. We are in the planning phase of a capital campaign and hope to be building a new shelter in the future.
