About This Cause

Our job as a perinatal network is to know what agencies provide what services and who the medical and health care providers and programs in our region are. Contact us through our toll-free phone service: 800-231-0744; our staff will help connect you to the right agency or provider. Our referral services are free and confidential. Our perinatal (meaning the time before, during and after pregnancy) services focus on community and provider education, community awareness campaigns, helping pregnant and parenting women and families stop smoking, supporting women of reproductive age. The PAL (Parents As Leaders) centers are drop in centers for parents and children with a concentration on new parents and those raising infants & toddlers. PAL is a place where families can find support, play with their children, hone their parenting skills & get connected to community resources. Our educators provide teens the information they need to know the differences between a healthy and an unhealthy relationship. Our programs help them understand the potential consequences of sexual activity and arm them with information about planning for their future. Access to health care coverage is essential to addressing the high rates of infant mortality by ensuring pregnant women have access to health care. M&BPN works to assist ALL individuals and families in attaining health care coverage. Pregnant and have questions you forgot to ask your doctor? Need breastfeeding support and information? Questions on safe sleep practices or need help to quit smoking for your baby’s health? We can help with these issues and more!
