Mission Statement
Gerard Place provides housing and supportive programs for homeless, single-parent families. We strengthen the community by empowering individuals and families toward self-sufficiency via community education and outreach.
About This Cause
We offer a housing and supportive services program for homeless single parent families as well as high school equivalency classes for the Buffalo community. A community center offers allied health and culinary training programs, a daycare center and twice a week community dining hall. A new homelessness prevention program assists with rental arrears, security deposits and first month's rent, rental assistance and utility arrears.
