Mission Statement
The mission of Family Promise of Greater Des Moines is to mobilize our community to help homeless families achieve stable housing and income through compassionate care, hospitality and professional support.
About This Cause
Family Promise of Greater Des Moines provides shelter and meals for three homeless families with children through a network of 15 faith-based congregations who provide clean, safe overnight shelter and nutritious meals for a period of one week every three months. The families receive case management services at our Day Center which provides guests a safe, secure place to be during the day.
