Mission Statement
The DC LGBTQ+ Community Center educates, empowers, celebrates, and connects the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender communities. To fulfill our mission, we focus on four core areas: health and wellness, arts & culture, social & support services, and advocacy and community building.
About This Cause
The DC Center’s educates, empowers, celebrates, and connects the (our) lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender communities (community) as its mission. It provides a diverse array of services and programming to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer people, including Center Careers, Center Arts, Center Aging, Center Wellness, and free mental health services. Each program has its own specific goals, but all of The DC Center’s programming focuses on improving the lives of all members of our very diverse community. The DC Center is located at 2000 14th Street NW, Suite 105, and its regular business hours are Monday through Friday 12PM to 6PM and Saturday from 11AM to 3PM.
