About This Cause
The MISSION of the PARKINSON RESEARCH FOUNDATION is to help find a cure for Parkinson’s disease through funding research, while providing ongoing education and free services that enhance quality of life for Parkinson patients, caregivers, families, & community supporting more than 1 million people through out the U.S. PARKINSON PLACE, a program of Parkinson Research Foundation, offers a 9,000 sq. ft. destination site in Sarasota, FL dedicated exclusively to meeting the physical, mental, emotional, and social needs of those living with Parkinson's disease, their families and caregivers. With free membership for Parkinson patients and caregivers, Parkinson Place offers over 50 free programs and services each month with the ongoing opportunity to socialize with other Parkinsonians and caregivers, to benefit from an assortment of different exercise programs, voice and music classes , support groups and ongoing educational and empowerment programs available daily.
