Mission Statement
CureDuchenne is a nonprofit organization raising awareness and funds to find a cure for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD). By working closely with the world’s leading research scientists, CureDuchenne works to determine the most viable projects that will accelerate the clinical trial process and bring potential life saving drugs to help this generation of young boys living with the deadly and disabling disease.
About This Cause
CureDuchenne was formed in response to the precise needs of those who live with Duchenne muscular dystrophy and their families. From creating the first Duchenne-specific physical therapy program, to funding research for the first-ever FDA approved drug for Duchenne patients, to launching a newborn screening initiative, we believe in fighting Duchenne from every angle.
