Mission Statement
Blue Ridge Boxer Rescue is committed to the rescue of boxer dogs and boxer mixes that have been abandoned, abused, neglected or surrendered by their owners. We provide medical treatment including spay/neuter, vaccines, heartworm treatment along with treatment for any injury or illness. We provide in-home placement for the dog through an application approval process.
About This Cause
We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit animal rescue organization. We rescue boxer and boxer mix dogs that have been abandoned, abused, neglected or surrendered. The majority of our dogs come from animal shelters where they are at risk for euthanasia. We provide medical treatment not limited to vaccines, spay/neuter, heartworm treatment and treatments for illness or injury. Once healthy, the dogs become available for adoption to approved adopters. BRBR is operated solely by volunteers. Our dogs are housed in foster homes as we do not have a kennel type facility.
