Mission Statement
Established in 2003 to rescue & provide homeless Collies, Shelties and other family friendly dogs a safe haven with medical & nutritional care until an approved home is found.
About This Cause
There is no paid staff. It is unique in that it will not refuse a dog because of age or medical problems., It has rescued over 1100 dogs. Every dog will be spayed or neutered if not previously altered as well as receiving all medical, nutritional and behavioral care that is needed. The dogs are placed in foster care until adopted. Administrative costs are kept to a minimum. Insurance is the largest administrative cost. Ninety-three (93%) of all funds raised is spent on animal care. It is a 501C(3) charity incorporated in the state of Ohio in December 2003.
