About This Cause
Chiari Malformation is a serious neurological disorder that affects more than 300,000 children and adults in the US. Patients endure a wide array of symptoms including debilitating headaches, cognitive issues, weakness and paralysis. Currently the only treatment is a traumatic brain surgery which too often leaves patients with lingering symptoms and pain. Conquer Chiari is the leader in providing research funding to better understand Chiari and improve diagnosis and treatment. The Conquer Chiari Research Center is the world's first multi-disciplinary research facility dedicated to this cause.
