Our mission is to be a lighthouse for Christ through a medical ministry in the Peruvian Amazon region of South America.
About This Cause
Scalpel At The Cross is a Christian Orthopaedic Mission to the Peruvian Amazon jungle that provides surgical care to patients with broken, deformed, ununited or arthritic bones and joints. Scalpel has provided over $8,000,000 in care since 2004, and helps an impoverished region of the world with otherwise no access to such solutions. It is committed to careful outcomes tracking as well as education and employment of the native people. This mission has launched a 2022 Capital Campaign to build out an Orthotics & Prosthetics & Physical Therapy Center which will be the first such resource in the Amazon Jungle.
