To help others less fortunate! Pure and simple. No strings attached! And, by helping others, we help ourselves!
About This Cause
We are a small, California based public benefit non-profit corporation. California Corp #C2648327. A Federal 501 (c) (3) corporation, EIN 20-1222622. We have been in existence since 2003. We at Homeless Intervention Ministries (HIM) help the homeless, and others that are in need, in our local Southern California area, through a variety of programs. We have a large Christmas Outreach where we give away several hundred wrapped gifts and Christmas stockings to families with children who can use a little extra help. We also host a Super Bowl Party for the residents of the local Homeless Shelter! Plus, we have a program where we provide Greyhound bus tickets (anywhere in the United States) to people coming from various circumstances who have provided proof to us that they have family members or friends willing to house them and help them get back on their feet. Since we started our "There's No Place Like Home" program in 2003, we have successfully provided over 230 homeless men, women and children with Greyhound bus tickets to places throughout the United States, where they were able to have a roof over their heads and hope for the future! For all those who have donated, and continue to donate, to HIM, a BIG Thank You!! 100% of your donation goes to helping those less fortunate, there are no administration costs associated with our non-profit!
