Mission Statement
Christian Women’s Job Corps (CWJC) of Greater Arlington is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization. CWJC offers a 10-week tuition-free educational program twice each year. Our program consists of job skills training and personal development.
About This Cause
CWJC has been serving the women in our community since 2005. Over 625 extremely proud women have graduated from the CWJC program. Each woman has been honored at their graduation ceremony in the company of friends and family. Our ten-week program offers job skills training in Microsoft Office 2016, QuickBooks 2018, resume writing and interviewing skills and networking. In addition to job skills training, CWJC participants enjoy personal development classes, including time management, boundaries, relationship building, goal setting, Bible study and much more. CWJC offers classes virtually, as well as on-site, day and evening. Our program is unique in many aspects, one of which is our mentoring program. Each participant is paired with an individual mentor (journey partner); this relationship is one of encouragement and friendship and is a blessing to all of the women involved. CWJC thrives due to the commitment and devotion of our volunteers, all of whom are qualified and experienced in the subject matter they teach. We like to say that we provide women a hand up, not just a hand out! Thank you for your consideration to support this worthwhile organization.
