The Myra Davis Hemmings Resource Center, Inc. Board of Directors mission is to raise funds to provide scholarships to youth seeking to attend college, promote wellness for senior citizens, and rehabilitate and preserve the historic MDHRC facility.
About This Cause
The Myra Davis Hemmings Resource Center, Inc. Board of Directors raises funds to provide scholarships to youth seeking to attend college, promote wellness for senior citizens, and rehabilitate and preserve the historic MDHRC facility. The Board of Directors strive to address the financial (academic scholarships) needs of minority and economically disadvantaged students in inner-city San Antonio. The MDHRC is located in the Eastside community. This area, roughly defined by City Council District 2, is located 2 miles from downtown in the federal designated Eastside Promise Zone (EPZ).
